We offer opportunities for corporate teams (of up to 30 people in summer, 20 in winter) looking for a day out from the office, to get stuck in and reconnect with nature.
After a farm tour and introduction to our scheme and what we do, the work begins! Depending on time of year, weather and what's happening at the farm, tasks will vary. The team can help with ongoing activities such as harvesting, or get involved with a one-off project such as building infrastructure or creating a wildlife area.
We can provide refreshments and a homemade lunch too, using our own regeneratively grown vegetables. Here’s a guide to what we offer:
WHOLE DAY 10am - 4pM: £40 per person
With SEASONAL HOMEMADE lunch and refreshments: £10 extra per person
’field to fork day’: as above, includes 1 hour cooking workshop using veg YOUR team have harvested together. available july - october only. £60 per person INC. FOOD
HALF DAY morning 10am - 1pm, or afternoon 1pm to 4pm, including refreshments: £25 per person
We generally ask for a minimum of 10 people to attend a team day, but please still get in touch if you are part of a smaller organisation. The costs cover staff time for our Growers and Volunteer Coordinator to work with you on the day, equipment provided by us, food/refreshments, and as a non-profit organiastion it also helps us to continue offering our essential services to other volunteers for free (see our community impact page for details of what we do).
AN EXAMPLE full day ITINERARY:
10:00 – 10:45: Farm induction and tour with one of the veg growers: our ethos, aims and what it means to grow regeneratively with the community
10:45 – 12:00: morning task: harvesting veg
12:00 – 13:00: seasonal lunch
13:00 – 14:00: afternoon task: composting and clearing beds
14:00 – 14:30: Coffee & cake
14:30 – 15:45: Afternoon task: seed sowing
15:45 – 16:00: REFLECTIONS & GOODBYE!
