Grown for the community, with the community

FARNHAM COMMUNITY FARM

Together with the community, we grow organic vegetables just outside Farnham using regenerative farming methods.

“I like the fact that I volunteer on the farm, so I know what goes into producing my vegetables. I love the connection I am able to have with the process that brings me my weekly bag.”

Nicky, FCF member since 2023

Is Farnham Community Farm what you’re looking for?

Would you like to grow your own veg but don’t have the space?

Would you like to shorten the chain between grower and consumer, and take back ownership of the food system?

Are you looking to feel more integrated into a community, and meet new people?

Would you like the opportunity to get outside more, and reconnect with the land?

Are you concerned for the environment and your carbon footprint, and looking for food that has been produced sustainably, working with nature not against it?

HERE IS WHAT OTHERS SAY ABOUT FCF:

“My life has certainly been enriched by being involved with the farm and I’m truly grateful for its existence."

Since volunteering at the farm and realising the journey from seed to plate, I switched to the farms veg bag. Knowing the methods used in the growing and being involved in it has been very fulfilling for me.
I often receive vegetables that I have never heard of and really value the tips and tricks I receive in the weekly emails telling me ahead of time what I’ll receive which lets me plan ahead. I also like the attention to variety, meaning I don’t receive the same every week. (Within the confines of the season).

"I am so happy knowing that I can eat a salad in the evening from leaves that were picked in the morning.
Occasionally I see a little snail or some leaves with a few bite marks, but rather than filling me with horror, I am happy as I know that no pesticides or herbicides were used."

I so enjoy that moment when I unpack the bag onto my kitchen counter and have a good look at the week’s produce. I love the variety we get- frequently things that the supermarkets don’t stock.
I like the fact that I volunteer on the farm, so I know what goes into producing my vegetables. I love the connection I am able to have with the process that brings me my weekly bag.
