DUKE OF EDINBURGH &
WORK EXPERIENCE

Are you looking for a meaningful place to complete your Work Experience or Duke of Edinburgh Award?

Do you enjoy being outdoors, want to try growing vegetables, or simply prefer not to spend your required hours indoors?

We welcome young people undertaking their Duke of Edinburgh Award or Work Experience placements. This is a valuable opportunity to build confidence, develop practical land-based skills, and contribute to the day-to-day running of a local, sustainable vegetable farm.

Students will be involved in a variety of seasonal tasks and will gain hands-on experience in food growing, teamwork, and environmental stewardship.

As part of the process, all students are required to complete a short form outlining potential risks and safe working practices to ensure a safe and supportive experience for everyone.

If you are under 18, you will need a parent or a guardian to help filling out the form.
